The first-ever industrial maintenance cluster has been launched at Fives. Major partners in industrial maintenance gathered at Fives for the national launch of this collective. This inter-company collaboration shares a common ambition: to make maintenance a strategic pillar of innovation for sustainable development. 4-📖 Once Upon A Time At Fives | Back in 1968

An extraordinary convoy leaves the Fives-Lille plant factory in Givors, France 🇫🇷.

The convoy is 65 meters long and 5 meters wide. It is pulled by a tractor with 300 horsepower at the front and another with 164 wheels for 300 tons. This convoy carries the stator of an alternator weighing 190 tonnes, bound for the Merlin Gerin laboratory in Grenoble. A 48-ton rotor, also manufactured in Givors, will be assembled later. This unconventional design tests the circuit breakers utilized on high-voltage lines.
