Flexible learning can be fun
Perhaps we can all agree that nothing that is inflexible or rigid could amount to something good. Sometimes it happens at the same time that stability and permanence are qualities in things that we highly value in a world that is changing so fast and in the middle of multiple turmoils. The last few years have forced us to adapt to rapid changes and are still teaching us to do so. Companies and training /learning proposals have benefited from this, since the possibility of online learning has made it possible to attend conferences and seminars we had never attended before, to listen to the latest trends and theories from authors and not as reported by others. However the tension between global and local is more present than ever, and we greatly value learning with friends, in the places that we know, in the ways we used to in the past. At Home we want to make you connect with the new and older ways of learning, by always using the state-of-the-art in techniques and creative approaches, by developing assessment tools you can relate to and by challenging the old but also embracing it. Because old and new are not elements in a tension, they are paradigms that can co-exist to make learning more meaningful and long-lasting in our minds and hearts than just staying exactly as we were would do.
