Ford's Future Electric Vehicle Center

Ford's Future Electric Vehicle Center

Yesterday was an exciting day at Ford as we announced our new Rouge Electric Vehicle Center where we will build the first-ever all-electric F-150. I am extremely proud that this state-of-the-art plant will be powered by 100 percent renewable electricity, and will be the home of the zero-emissions version of the legendary F-150, which will begin rolling off the lines in mid-2022.

For most of the last century, the Rouge has been the cathedral of American manufacturing, the most copied plant in the world. But to me, it is more than a factory. It is a source of pride and opportunity for generations of workers.

When it fell into disrepair, some wanted to abandon it, but I knew that was not the right decision. Instead, we made the Rouge into one of the most environmentally progressive plants in the world. I knew we could do it because the people who work there never let us down.

In good times and in hard times, whenever America has had to rebuild its economy, win wars or fight disease, American manufacturing and Ford have always been a key to moving forward.

The past six months again proved why it is so important to have manufacturing in America. We cannot have a strong economy or a strong democracy without a strong manufacturing base. This is not and should not be a political issue. But it does have to be a national mission. There does have to be a sense of urgency to it.

Because Ford made the investments to build in America, we were able to pivot and use our industrial might to help in a time of real need. And more than any other automaker, Ford is Built for America. We employ more hourly workers in the U.S. than any other auto manufacturer, and we assemble more vehicles in the U.S. than any other automaker.

The Rouge was our most important plant more than 100 years ago. It remains at the heart of Ford today and it will be tomorrow. Ford is going to play our part to get America’s economic engines running properly again and this week’s announcement is just the beginning

Bill Ford Subject: Urgent: Lack of Response and Business Practices Concern Dear Bill I hope this email reaches you. My name is vikash, and I am a UNFORTUNATE CUSTOMER OF FORD INDIA who has been attempting to address a critical issue with your company for the past 30 days without any success. I must express my deep disappointment and frustration at the lack of response from your team and, notably, from you. As a concerned customer, it raises doubts about the commitment to good business practices and customer service within Ford. I understand that challenges may arise, but the absence of communication is disheartening and reflects poorly on the reputation of the company. I believe in open dialogue and resolution through effective communication, yet my attempts seem to have fallen on deaf ears. I urge you to look into this matter promptly and ensure that your company adheres to the principles of good business practices. Timely and transparent communication is crucial in maintaining trust and loyalty among your customers. I hope that this message prompts the necessary action to address the concerns raised. I appreciate your attention to this matter and expect a prompt resolution. Sincerely, Vikash

I have encountered with Ford India. Regrettably, I must express my deep disappointment and frustration with the service and support I have received as a customer. Despite reaching out to various channels within Ford India, I have not received any satisfactory response or resolution to my issue.I feel cheated and let down by the lack of attention and care from Ford India representatives. It pains me to say that it appears as though the company has turned a blind eye to the problems faced by its customers. This stands in stark contrast to the values and vision upon which Henry Ford founded the Ford Motor Company. Moreover, the absence of your involvement or response to my previous emails adds to the distressing nature of this situation. As the CEO of Ford, I believe your guidance and attention are crucial to maintaining the brand's integrity and ensuring customer satisfaction. The actions of Ford's dealers in India, seemingly focused solely on financial gain without regard for customer welfare, reflect poorly on the company's standards and values.I implore you, Mr. CEO, to intervene and assist in resolving my issue as soon as possible.
