The fountain of youth, Day 6: Faith has man-eyes.

"It's theeee... right side."

Uh, the left, actually.

For six days I have been cleansing, glooping and smearing a variety of Evangeline's potions on to the left side of my face in an effort to make me ugly on only one side. 'Deep cleanser,' 'Complexion renovator' and 'Youthful eyes.'

People can tell there's a difference, but when asked, they always choose the wrong side. I can't tell either.

"You just have man-eyes," said Evangeline as she snaps off an uncomfortably close close-up, "Men can't see the difference."

Is that what it is? Man eyes? Can men only see things if they bounce? If I swap, will I see wrinkles instead of oncoming traffic? Explains a lot.

But others guess incorrectly. Is the experiment working? I am to journal the change it is making, but I can't see it myself. All I can do is trust in the sorcery. To persevere and put my faith in Evangeline's hands as they dab a blob of 'Magic serum' into my cheeks.

Maybe faith isn't totally blind; she just has man-eyes.
