Free GenAI Course with Deep Dive into LLMs
You see more and more free courses these days. Many are just introductory and not technical, and many are not really free: you need to pay a $49 monthly fee (Coursera) or it involves some sort of subscription. Free courses offered by vendors will teach you to use their product. They can be very useful, but the goal is marketing and trying to get more people to adopt their products.
Vendor-neutral courses featuring state-of-the-art technology don't really exist, whether free or not. Professionals working on ground-breaking apps have signed NDAs with their employers and are not allowed to share trade secrets.
There is one exception: the GenAI Fellowship. I am the author of the program. Being self-funded, I am able to discuss vendor-neutral material, and teach the secret sauce to beat OpenAI, Google and the likes, both in terms of speed and quality, by orders of magnitude. The program discusses self-tuning, customized and taxonomy-based LLMs, evaluation metrics, as well as many AI optimization techniques based on foundational innovation, with case studies and serious Python code. Everything is open source and shared, even the data used for crawling, and how it was smartly crawled and summarized, based on carefully selected input sources.
Entirely free, no hidden costs, and you don't even have to provide your email address (or any information) to join. It also comes with a free certificate that you can add to your LinkedIn credentials.

9moThank you, Vincent. I downloaded the text and am taking the course for 2 reasons. 1. I have been following you for years now, and have complete trust in your expertise and motives. 2. I want as much technical knowledge of AI and LLM as I can get, given I do not know how to code. But I know business, math, logic, and where to find experts in areas of my ignorance. It looks to me like this course is a perfect fit for me. And maybe one day I will learn Python. Thanks again.
