Freelance Magento Developer - 6 Month Contract - Enschede

Job Title: Freelance Magento Developer (6-Month Rolling Contract)

Location: Enschede, Netherlands (On-site 2 days per week)

Hours per week: 32 hours per week

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Freelance Magento Developer to join our e-commerce client’s development team for an initial 6-month rolling contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work on exciting projects in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.

As a Magento Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing Magento-based e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Magento development, with a good understanding of JavaScript and its integration within Magento environments.

• Proven experience with Magento 2 development (backend and frontend).
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and experience integrating JavaScript with Magento.
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JS frameworks.
• Experience with Hyvä or Knockout.js is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with MySQL and database management in a Magento environment.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Mainly B2B projects
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.

• Freelance/contractor status with the ability to invoice.
• Available for an initial 6-month commitment with potential for extension.
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a bonus).
• Able to come to the office in Enschede
