Step into a world where young minds are empowered to shape a greener tomorrow with the NYPA Girl Scout Patch Program, managed by the Environmental Justice team. This initiative invites Scouts to explore how they can contribute to a sustainable future for their communities and the planet. Along the way, they'll uncover the exciting possibilities of careers in STEM and energy-related fields.
Girls will have the ability to earn a unique patch that signifies their accomplishments and the valuable knowledge they've gained. This program is another testament to NYPA’s unwavering commitment to providing supplemental, energy-focused, and age-appropriate STEM experiences for students in Grades 3-12. By fostering curiosity, building confidence, and enhancing educational equity, we are helping to elevate STEM competency beyond the traditional classroom setting.
