From Digital Marketing to Animation: My Journey Towards Motion Graphics

Over the course of my 10+ year career journey, I gradually shifted my focus towards animation, particularly motion graphics. Starting as a Digital Marketing Executive at Bdjobs.com (2013-2015), I had the opportunity to apply my self-taught motion graphics skills by creating a commercial animated explainer video for the 'SWOSTI' project.

This experience ignited my passion for motion graphics, leading me to join REVE Systems (2015-2017) as a Sr. Digital Marketing Executive. During my time there, I created over 20 motion graphics videos for events and UI motion graphics for the 'Alapon App,' which were showcased to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Feeling inspired and motivated, I embarked on a new chapter by establishing my own animation studio, EndingScene Studio, while working as a Digital Marketing Strategist at Pathao (2017). At Pathao, I successfully created two highly impactful promotional motion graphics videos, attracting over 10 million viewers and significantly boosting app users.

This led me to fully commit to EndingScene Studio, and in our first quarter, we served 40+ companies, generating revenue exceeding 25 lakh+ BDT. We even received a $50k investment from an early foreign investor of Pathao and incorporated as EndingScene Inc. in the USA (2018).

Since then, EndingScene Studio has collaborated with 300+ brands across diverse industries, including NGOs like BRAC and Manusher Jonno Foundation, startups like Truck Lagbe and SWAP, and renowned companies such as Gildan and Guardian Life Insurance. Our motion graphics videos have incorporated compelling storytelling techniques, enriched UI/UX designs, and showcased captivating 2D and 3D character animations.

Within EndingScene Studio, I have led notable projects such as the creation of the 2D animation short film 'Shahner Jagoron' for Manusher Jonno Foundation, a motion graphics promo video for Guardian Life Insurance's 'Easy Life App,' and multiple animated videos for the JANO Project, focused on nutrition awareness and community engagement. We have also contributed to the Needs Assessment Working Group (NAWG) project of CARE Bangladesh by creating informative videos and conducting field visits to better understand local needs.

Additionally, I directed four training commercials in 2D animation for BRAC IED, covering topics such as joyful learning, teacher-student relationships, and learning through play. Moreover, I spearheaded the production of an animated commercial for the inauguration of the 'Binimoy App,' featuring ICT Affairs Adviser Sajeeb Wazed Joy.

In 2023, I collaborated with CDD - Centre for Disability in Development, leading my team to create 14 animated learning videos on the 'Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities in Humanitarian Response.' These modules were thoughtfully designed to be accessible, incorporating sign language experts into each video.

Beyond the realm of EndingScene Studio, I founded KajKey.com (2018), a freelance marketplace, and Learning Bangladesh (2020), an e-learning platform. Through KajKey.com, we produced promotional motion graphics videos that attracted over 50k registered freelancers and 10k employers. Likewise, Learning Bangladesh offers a comprehensive range of more than 3,000-course modules, including basic motion graphics, and has garnered over 15k registered learners through our captivating animated and motion graphics course promotional video.

In conclusion, my career journey from digital marketing to animation has been an exciting and fulfilling path. The experiences and accomplishments throughout the years have solidified my expertise in motion graphics, storytelling, and UI/UX design. I am driven by the immense satisfaction of creating impactful visual content that captivates audiences and delivers powerful messages. Looking ahead, I am eager to continue pushing boundaries, exploring new techniques, and making a lasting impact in the world of animation.
