⭐ In my ongoing series on self-help, motivational + inspirational books: here, some great info, inspiration and input on how to turn a beloved pastime into something that pays:

And who better to compile this article than one who has her own success story??

⭐ When (many years ago) I first picked up the mountain dulcimer - a beautiful stringed lap instrument with a silvery bagpipe-like resonance - I knew I had found something very special.

It ultimately became more than a delightful pastime; it actually morphed into a second business (albeit a small one) - gentle/distinctive atmospheric music for special events.

⭐ As I've detailed in one or two other articles, there was/is lots of work marketing, targeting, promoting, fulfilling that promise, etc...but the love and magic are still there, constantly re-awoken and reaffirmed.

I'm also pleased to recall that there was one year actually made more income with my music than with my writing!

⭐ Having a passion that pays can be so rewarding - and can help fill in those income gaps...or even become a main biz!
