Good morning. Eager as we were to find out the final slate of the BSP's Monetary Board, the talent search for the next president of PLDT Inc. should prove to be just as suspenseful. The one chosen for the job will likely be a familiar name, with their own medals of exemplary leadership tucked under their belt.

Meanwhile, Cebu Pacific has put a limit to its long-haul operations due to some of its jets being grounded. CebuPac is taking a cautious approach towards its supply chain issue, just as PH tycoons are cautious on the country's 2024 growth outlook amid troubles in the West Philippine Sea.

Interestingly, the ADB expects the Philippines to be Southeast Asia’s growth leader, primarily because of a lower growth outlook in other countries in the region. Will the prudent outlook improve Dennis Uy's chances of selling off a majority stake in PH Resorts Group?
