Future Business Leaders

One of the coolest things about my role here at eCapital Advisors is that it allows me to meet and work with some incredible people – and share our passion and expertise in an area that is central to how organizations will find future success.

One of these incredible people is Emily Kist who will join the team this summer as an intern from the Business Honors Academy at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Emily shared "Exciting news! I am beyond grateful to announce that I have accepted a Summer 2021 consulting internship with eCapital Advisors in Bloomington, MN. Since last March, I've enjoyed getting acquainted with the team and culture."

As an eCapital intern, Emily will see firsthand how businesses are accelerating their digital transformation and automation journeys. And we will learn how the next generation of business leaders view problem-solving and collaboration to arrive at the best outcomes.

I’d like to give a special mention to the Nebraska Business Honors Academy (NBHA) which is a four-year, cohort-based, enhanced business curriculum for high-ability students, allowing them to develop solutions for real-world business problems. The Academy is run by Erin Burnette, and Becka Neary-DeLaPorte the Director, and Assistant Director who are doing a fantastic job in preparing Emily and her fellow students to be future business leaders.

As challenging as the last 12 months have been, Erin and her team were able to secure internships for every one of the Academy’s students in 2020, which I think speaks volumes about the quality of the student body and the education they are receiving.
