Creator Economy Updates & How They Affect You:

A recent report states that India’s Gaming Creator Economy boasts of over 300k creators and streamers that cater to an engaging audience of 600M users.

Platforms like YouTube , Rooter and Twitch are popular amongst gamers that create and produce mainly interactive content like live streams, gameplay videos, tips and tricks, reviews, tutorials & vlogs that require less production compared to other genres. 

Talking to the audience, instead of talking at them 

Gaming content creators can cultivate deep engagement and trust with their audience which has led to them building vibrant niche communities. 

Creators interact directly with their audience regularly and have a strong understanding of their audience which helps them build more engaged channels like broadcast channels and #community events.

This translates into increased monetisation opportunities as this loyal and highly engaged audience invests time and money into games the creators promote. #Creators’ recommendations, reviews, and gameplay can in turn influence their followers’ purchasing decisions. 

This loyalty amongst followers can create ‘Super fans’ who are more likely to be influenced by these #creators. This method is more effective and impactful than more traditional advertising methods as they increase accessibility and appeal to a broader demography which can lead to growth for an entire industry. 

To ensure that you have a strong #marketing funnel via content creation, you have to ensure that you’re creating avenues to “Talk to your audience, not talk at them”.
