Gavin Gehlig appointed as CEO of Consult by Momentum

Consult by Momentum is proud to announce the appointment of Gavin Gehlig as its new Chief Executive Officer. An innovative and dynamic leader, Gavin brings a wealth of experience and a relentless determination for excellence to his new role. His professional journey is marked by a commitment to empowering teams, fostering collaboration, and driving sustainable growth. 

Gavin's career has been characterised by proactive leadership, strategic vision, and a keen eye for growth opportunities. Most recently, as the Founder and CEO of GrowthHouse, he spearheaded initiatives that significantly accelerated the company’s growth and transformation. Under his leadership, GrowthHouse experienced substantial expansion in its client base and sales force, maintaining strong market positions and achieving impressive milestones. Before that, Gavin served as Executive Head of Retail & Institutional Solutions at NMG Benefits South Africa. In this position, he led strategic planning and sales operations, significantly enhancing revenue streams and team cohesion across multiple channels. 

He maintains an incredible balance in his work and personal life as he prioritises staying fit and healthy by spending plenty of time at the gym and enjoys an occasional game of golf. He has an English bulldog named Scarlett that he spends a great deal of time with, along with his wife and family, and enjoys travelling as it allows him to explore new places and cultures. He also has a keen interest in learning new things and is particularly fascinated by the potential and implications of advancements in artificial intelligence and remains updated with its development.

In August 2024, Gavin will graduate with an MBA specialising in Marketing from Hult International Business School. Hult’s unique approach, combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on practical experience in a global classroom environment, has equipped him with an unparalleled understanding of the global business landscape. Gavin's academic achievements, as well as his strategic and ethical leadership style, make him an ideal fit for steering Consult by Momentum to new heights.
