Geek Fam Dominates 2 Weeks In A Row At 2022 PMPL MY/SG/PH Fall Country League
KUALA LUMPUR, 2nd AUGUST 2022 – Week 2 of the 2022 PMPL MY/SG/PH Fall Country League has just concluded, with Geek Fam once again the number one on the leaderboard with a total of 285 points. They have been consistent throughout the week without giving any opportunity for the other teams to overtake them. The team obtained 200 points by Day 3 and collected 59 more than the total points they achieved in Week 1 of 2022 PMPL MY/SG/PH Fall Country League. The team has set the pace and shown amazing coordination between the members during the league. Mica and uHigh from Geek Fam played aggressively on the battlefield knowing they have good support from teammates at all times.
And once again, Geek Fam is awarded the Top Performing Team for the 2nd time this season. On top of all that, uHigh from Geek Fam is announced as the Top Terminator of Week 2 for getting the most eliminations, 43 eliminations. This is four elimination points more than the previous Top Terminator in Week 1, DamQT from Team HAQ.
Team Genexus battled hard in Week 2 and almost beat Geek Fam in terms of score. Unfortunately, they were short of 9 points to overtake Geek Fam and will have to settle with 2nd place. Being placed 2nd is a significant upgrade compared to 9th place in Week 1 of the competition. The team also achieved the most number of Winner Winner Chicken Dinners this season, which is six, compared to the previous four Chicken Dinners by Dingoz Esports in Week 1.
SEM9 has shown that they are still one of the best teams in the region by placing 2nd at the current Bonus Ranking. Same goes for Dingoz Esports who is currently tied with SEM9 in terms of bonus points and currently in 3rd place. Compared to Week 1’s performance, 4Rivals has found their tempo in Week 2 and placed at 7th, currently sharing the same Bonus Points with CRIT ViP, and MAB Esports. However, Yoodo Alliance is still struggling to make it into the Top 10 chats in Week 2.
There is still one week left for all 20 teams to collect Bonus Points and secure their slot as the Top 16 teams in the competition to move forward to the Country Finals. Will Geek Fam continue to dominate Week 3 and who will advance to 2022 PMPL MY/SG/PH Fall Country Finals for a more exciting battlefield? Out of the 16 teams competing in the Country Finals, only one team will be crowned the winner and champion of the 2022 PMPL MY/SG/PH Fall. The answer will be revealed in Week 3 of 2022 PMPL MY/SG/PH Fall Country League from 3 to 7 August 2022.
