 Funke Medical has just developed a novel gel wheelchair cushion, which will set standards. Like the Funke Medical XSEAT® cushion, it covers an enormous scope of patient-centred care:

1. Applicable up to stage 4 (EPUAP)
2. Weight capacity:  20 – 120 kg

All the successful features of the predecessor XSEAT® are also used for the new cushion GELSEAT®:

1. Water-, virus- and bacteria-proof cover but still permeable to water vapour
2. Mesh³ fabric for an outstanding microclimate
3. Non-skid-bottom
4. Maintenance-free medical device

However, the proper revolutionary thing about GELSEAT® is its unique GELTOUCH®-TECHNOLOGY, which provides - in contrast to many other gel cushions – excellent pressure relief and a significantly better microclimate.
