General Manager, Food industry, based in Nabeul (Factory size 250 people)


Our client, a major player in the Food sector, is looking to recruit an experienced General Manager, to be based in Nabeul.


The ideal profile we are searching for would match the following criteria:

-proven experience as a CEO or General Manager of an Food/FMCG company

-Previous role as a Plant/Factory Manager in the Food industry

-Fluent in English (as well as French & Arabic)

-Excellent management,  communication and interpersonal skills

-Excellent knowledge of all aspects of Production, Supply Chain, Food processing in the Food industry


Main missions

· Implement the strategy developed by the Board of Directors and ensure relations with the directors and shareholders

· Lead the annual planning, ensure synchronization of the objectives of the agronomic teams, industrial and commercial

· Ensure commercial monitoring, define the ‘go to market’ strategy and the marketing strategy

- Supervise and coach agronomic and industrial teams

- Ensure the organization and maintenance of factories. Supervise CAPEX projects

- Conduct an annual performance diagnosis and identify levers for improvement

- Monitor external factors (e.g. climate, prices/trends in the global market) and conduct

adequate response

· Embody the image of the company internally and externally and promote its values by

daily representative

· Guarantee the good financial health of the company

- Supervise and coach financial and administrative teams

- Ensure monitoring of performance and financial indicators and improvement of reporting financial

· Ensure good management of human resources and the remuneration policy of

the company

· Ensure monitoring of the ESG policy, meet the expectations of regulators, shareholders and customers
