Generation of Trying
Every day I get emails asking the same questions.. “ET, when is my breakthrough coming?” “When is my promotion coming?,” “When am I going to start seeing success in my family?”
I wish I had a crystal ball that would tell you just how long it’s gonna take for you to be whole! The truth is, there is no time-frame for your change, and sometimes the hardest thing to do is work while you wait.
So, here are four things you’ll need to work on while your change is coming.
1. Work While You Wait. Don’t sit on your hands waiting for the magic to happen. If you get tired, take a break, just don’t stop.
2. Work On Your Focus. Your perspective, the way you see things will make all the difference in the world. Focus on what’s important and let everything else fall away.
3. Work On Your Faith. I’m never going to be that guy pushing my faith on anyone but, what I will tell you is that you need to find something bigger than yourself to believe in and allow yourself to be guided by those principles. All I’m saying is, it works for me so, maybe, it’s worth your time to look into developing or re-igniting your faith.
4. Work On Yourself. It’s time to look inward and to take responsibility for changing anything that the man in the mirror is doing that’s keeping you from achieving your goals! Sometimes, you’re the problem. Take some time to self-assess and figure out what you need to do, or, what you need to stop doing that will move you toward and not away from your goals!
If you’re waiting for your moment, work that thing while you wait! It won’t be easy but, it’ll be worth it! Now, let’s get after it!
It’s ya boy, ET
