Despite these challenges, many governments such as China, the United Arab Emirates, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Finland, and Singapore, and cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Dubai, and London, already plan for the metaverse’s potential, proactively developing metaverse technology initiatives. 

These plans focus on boosting innovation, business opportunities, and even governance through virtual spaces. According to experts, the metaverse will become a major force by the late 2020s, with a projected economic impact of $5 trillion to $13 trillion by 2030
