German Professionals Explore the Future of Living in KODA Park Tallinn.

Kodasema, 26.09.2019. Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming German education organisation called "ARBEIT UND LEBEN" (Bildungsvereinigung ARBEIT UND LEBEN Niedersachsen) at KODA Park Tallinn.

This organisation offers seminars for professionals, e.g. study trips to different cities in Europe with different topics. For many years already, Tallinn has long been one of their top destinations, and this autumn we were happy to greet the ARBEIT UND LEBEN group at KODA Park in Tallinn’s harbour area, to showcase our innovative pop-up village as an example of smart urban space use, enhanced with top contemporary design.

The overlaying goal of this educational visit was to explain and illustrate how Estonia has become one of the most - if not the most - digital nations in the world. The group’s visit to our temporary urban pop-up village of KODA houses provided a glimpse into what the future of urban living might look like - one that is inspiring, versatile and flexible enough to attract the growing number of digital nomads needed to keep a country in the forefront of digital progress.

The members of the delegation were welcomed and shown around our 20-house urban village by Birgit Linnamäe, CEO of Kodasema, who explained to the group, many of whom work in IT and technical development, and the administration of Volkswagen Group, about the sustainable concept of minimum viable space, future living, dynamic cities and placemaking to better serve the contemporary and future human needs.
