The competitions for the 11th German Sustainability Award have begun.
GERMANY'S MOST SUSTAINABLE COMPANIES AND COMMUNITIES WANTED!
The award is endorsed by the German Federal Government, local and business associations as well as numerous NGOs, among them UNESCO and UNICEF. The awards are presented to cities, companies and individuals promoting the idea of a sustainable society by Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel or other members of her cabinet.
The German Sustainability Award was established in 2008 to encourage the acceptance of social and ecological responsibility and to identify role models in this area.
As the Artist Relations Manager of the award Stefan Lohmann is responsible for the international Stars & Live Entertainment Concept.
"There is no agent in Germany who has understood our topic so well," says initiator Stefan Schulze-Hausmann. "It is important to get artists to perform for us who are really interested in the cause of sustainability. But interest of the artists is not enough. It takes a lot of skill and professionalism to put the whole package behind the visit of a national and international star. "
