Get Busy Living Or Get Busy Dying

Let me level with you. I’ve been in the hole before. PTSD, depression, drinking—those were my battles. What pulled me out wasn’t therapy sessions or wallowing in my struggles. It was action. Whether it was bartending, going back to school, or starting my business, every time I climbed out, it was because I focused on what I could do, not what I couldn’t.

Each time, I chose movement over misery. And guess what? That movement created momentum. Looking back now, I see every struggle as a gift. Kicked out of the Army? It set me up for a new career. A messy divorce? It pushed me to grow my business and rebuild relationships.

These aren’t only stories—they’re my receipts. I share them to show you that what feels impossible today could be the foundation for your success tomorrow.
