Who to Trust and How to Design for Trust

Learn how you can overcome AI challenges and design for trust.

Are your AI tools trustworthy?

Luckilythere are guidelines you can use to evaluate your AI-enabled solution and the AI tools in your design toolkit.

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) defines seven characteristics of a trustworthy AI system:

  1. Valid and reliable
  2. Safe
  3. Secure and resilient
  4. Accountable and transparent

What is Generative AI?

Generative AI (Artificial Intelligence), refers to a class of algorithms and models designed to autonomously produce content, such as text, images, music, or other forms of data, by learning patterns and structures from vast datasets.

Unlike traditional AI systems that follow predefined rules, generative AI has the ability to create entirely new and often highly realistic outputs, generally in response to AI prompts or with prompt engineering.
