For those living with the daily reality of Type 1 Diabetes, we offer a supportive community with many interactive programs and creative resources designed to empower one to thrive with T1D.

Whether it’s Dancing for Diabetes that attracts thousands or Golfing Fore Diabetes, you can expect Touched by Type 1 to deliver. Our events are fun, mission-oriented, and inclusive so that all members of our community can come together to support one another.

Elevate Awareness

Type 1 Diabetes is an autoimmune disease in which the pancreas produces little or no insulin. Approximately 1.9 million American children and adults have Type 1 Diabetes. We participate in a variety of events and fundraisers to help better educate our community & spread awareness so that one day we find a cure. 

Raise Funds

We make getting involved easy! You can easily attend one of our many events, volunteer your time or donate online. Consider assisting us in our mission to elevate awareness about the realities of living with Type 1 Diabetes.
