Get Out Of Your Way!
Having trouble recruiting the right people? Do you spend a lot of time and money training up staff only to have them leave as soon as they qualify? Perhaps it's time to take a good long hard look at yourself and how you are running your business and what you could do better.
This was inscribed on a tombstone:
I Wanted To Change The World...
When I was a young man, I wanted to change the world. I found it was difficult to change the world, so I tried to change my nation. When I found I couldn't change the nation, I began to focus on my town. I couldn't change the town and as an older man, I tried to change my family. Now, as an old man, I realise the only thing I can change is myself, and suddenly I realize that if long ago I had changed myself, I could have made an impact on my family. My family and I could have made an impact on our town. Their impact could have changed the nation and I could indeed have changed the world.

Outstanding leaders start with self-development and improving themselves! Look within and transform yourself first, identify what’s good about you and what could be better. This will have a positive impact on the people around you, your team, this will have a positive impact on your business, your customers and who knows maybe even the world!
As an entrepreneur and a business leader, it is important to lay the foundations, set the ground rules and the standards, then get out of your way and let your team do what they do best.
My upcoming book “Get Out Of Your Way” (www.GetOutOfYourWayBook.com), is the step by step guide for entrepreneurs to attract, recruit and retain a winning team. This book will give you the basic foundations to put in place to be more successful in business.
