Getting the maximum out of a BIG data / AI implementation .
I remember having a meeting with the CEO of a tech company that was into AI & Big data. I asked them what the most significant challenge they face while executing a BIG DATA / AI project and the answer astonished me
He said that “the biggest challenge is an expectation that once AI / BIG data implemented, everything will become better. But in reality, the success of BIG data / AI is directly proportional to common sense & ability of people who will use the tools. “
"Big Data" & "AI" combined are an exciting concept of unlimited potential. But the journey to achieve this unlimited potential starts with small steps that businesses have to take at the grass-root level.
The ability of data scientists to share an actionable insight is directly proportional to the strength of the business person to articulate the question or problem for which he is looking for an answer.
Organizations are spending big money on cleaning their existing data, setting a Data warehouse, investing in computing power. They should also be looking at training their staff on how to use data for customer insight, preparing their managers, and developing the ability to articulate their questions, their challenges. Train them on how to look at data, identify trends, draw different inferences from same set/ sets of data. Organizations must have a training program introduced at all levels.

4yVery well articulated. The quality of any analytics is as good as the questions being asked or the business problem being defined!
