Giulliane Fioravanti: new Partner and COO of Tropickout

We’re excited to announce that Giulliane Fioravanti is joining us as our new Partner and COO. In an exclusive interview conducted by the Tropickout communications team, Giulliane shared insights into her motivation for joining the company and the impact of participating in the Americas Food and Beverage Show in Miami.

Giulliane, before we talk business, we’d like to know more about you. Who is Giulliane Fioravanti outside the business world? What are your passions, hobbies, and what inspires you on a daily basis?

Giulliane is a deeply perseverant person, strongly connected to her values of family, faith, and work. Outside the business world, I am a wife, mother, and someone who deeply values balancing personal and professional life. I love traveling and discovering new cultures. I am passionate about innovation and love constantly challenging myself. Additionally, I have a deep love for Brazil, where I was born and raised. Despite living in the United States for 14 years, I feel a strong connection to my homeland and my roots. I would say that my life is a reflection of my pursuit of purpose—whether as a mother, wife, or entrepreneur, I am always focused on being my best self, creating positive impact, and building a better future.

Tell us a bit about your journey and what motivated you to become a partner at Tropickout. What are your expectations for the company’s future?

My journey is a blend of logistics, engineering, and entrepreneurship.  With a Civil Engineering degree from UNICAMP and postgraduate expertise in Logistics and Strategic Management, I’ve had the privilege of consulting for global institutions like the World Bank. These experiences gave me a global perspective on operations and efficiency, which I apply daily at Tropickout. I am driven by innovation and challenges. In 2020, I had the honor to participate in two fantastic entrepreneurship programs at Harvard Innovation Lab and MIT, where I was inspired to push the boundaries of innovation and what’s possible. Becoming a partner at Tropickout allowed me to combine my passions: innovation, sustainability, and promoting Brazilian products globally. I am thrilled by Tropickout's mission to bring the vibrant, tropical flavors of Brazilian fruits to countries that have never had access to them before. This pioneering vision drives our passion to transform global snacking with something truly unique. My expectations for Tropickout's future are focused on solid growth and international expansion. I see the company establishing itself as a global leader in healthy snacks, not only for the quality and innovation of our products but also for our commitment to sustainability and social impact.

How do you evaluate the importance of the Americas Food and Beverage Show for Tropickout in terms of product validation and feedback? What insights did you gain about product acceptance in the market?

The Americas Food and Beverage Show was an extremely important milestone for Tropickout, both for product validation and feedback. It provided a unique opportunity to showcase our highly innovative line of healthy snacks to a diverse audience, including distributors, retailers, and global market players. The feedback we received directly from potential partners and consumers was crucial in understanding how our products are perceived outside the digital space, confirming that we are on the right path by focusing on tropical flavors that resonate with the international public. Our snacks were recognized as highly innovative, and we saw growing acceptance of niche products like jackfruit. We also gained valuable insights on how to improve the presentation and format of certain products, helping us refine our offerings for even greater market success.

Beyond product evaluation, how do you see the impact of the trade show on Tropickout’s presence and expansion in the international market? What are the next steps for the company in this regard?

The Americas Food and Beverage Show was crucial for Tropickout’s international expansion. We connected with global distributors and retailers, opening doors to markets such as the United States, the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. The interest shown confirmed the growing demand for healthy, innovative products like our tropical freeze-dried snacks. The show strengthened our B2B strategy, revealing significant growth potential. Our next steps are to solidify partnerships and adjust production and logistics to support this expansion. We are also seeking certifications for stringent markets like Europe and the Middle East and will increase our presence at international trade shows and digital platforms. Tropickout is working to be ready for global growth, and now is the time to turn these connections into concrete business opportunities.
