Giving Us a Second Chance…

A couple of years ago I started working on a book project base on -second chances-. It’s a topic that’s very important to me. I’ve reading many stories about it and also, personally, had a few experiences in my family. By the way, because I believe if people are willing give it without judging, this world would someday be a better place.

One day I read the phrase above in one of the free magazines at the 99 Cents Store. Then, I asked myself the important question: “Did I give myself a second chance already?” The answer was… “I’m not sure”. Maybe in some way, I’m continuing to carrying the burden of a few past mistakes on my shoulders without knowing.

This unequivocally changed the plot of my story completely. My main character, who supposedly struggled to be accepted again from society due to a few bad things that occurred in the past, could maybe take some heavy weight off if he/she gave him/her a personal opportunity in the first place.

Well, the good news is that now after all, I felt I could improve the story in a very good way. The bad news is I have many chapters to re-write…
