Here are her thoughts on her role to celebrate World BA Day!: 

In my project for a government department, I played a critical role as a Business Analyst in migrating over 78,000 resources to an upgraded IT platform. 

From the outset, I worked closely with the product owner to develop a clear product roadmap that aligned with the project goals and technical requirements. I facilitated key stakeholder workshops, gathering input to ensure the platform met users’ needs and usability standards. These insights were then translated into detailed epics and user stories, laying the groundwork for the technical team’s development.

My role extended to creating wireframes that provided a clear visual guide for the user interface, ensuring the platform would deliver an intuitive and engaging experience. I also led backlog refinement and sprint planning sessions, continuously refining user stories to meet evolving project needs.

During the testing phase, I collaborated with testers and performed user acceptance testing to ensure the platform’s functionality matched expectations. My efforts ensured the smooth migration of diverse content types, from videos and podcasts to PDFs and images, while maintaining platform integrity and user experience.

Ultimately, the project was delivered successfully! 

As a Business Analyst, my focus on clear communication, requirement alignment, and user-centric design was instrumental in driving the project’s success.
