God gave our world Democracy
In the time of Samuel the prophet the nation of Israel wanted to have a king like all the other countries had, it is not what God wish but God went ahead and gave them a form of government we call today democracy, let me explain,
Executive Branch: the king of course is the executive branch of democracy
Congressional Branch: each of the 12 tribes have elders (3 or 4) these Elders come together (12 tribes) to form an assembly known as congress a branch of democracy.
Judicial Branch: There were appointed judges to judge the people that very much part of democracy.
Administrative staff: Then there were the priests, Prophets, scribes, and counselors who became members of the king’s administrative staff,
since the fall of Man from the Garden of Eden God knew that in man’s heart corrupted with sin man cannot honestly and truthfully govern himself. So God chose a man to be His prophet and his lawgiver and that man was Moses; and through Moses God gave the world his Ten Commandments which has become very much a part of our society. From The Ten Commandments as a foundation came other wise laws known as bylaws, bill of rights, and the Constitution. from the judicial branch of our government was established what is known as “The Rule of Law” in which is laid out the process in which evidence, facts, and proof are gathered together, and every man and woman comes before the courts as inocent until he or she is proven guilty. The rule of law is at the very heart of our constitution and democracy without its democracy cannot live we would then become a police state under 1 dictator, with all people’s rights taken away.
