John 5:23 that all may honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.
Since Jesus is God in human form, it would be hard to honor one and not the other since they are the same. It's like believing I am who I say I am but only if I wear the right clothes or look a certain way. I am who I am if I am 20 pounds heavier or lighter, bald or wearing a mullet (I pray neither is the case), wearing a Brewers jersey or Cubs (that may be pushing it). The point is God is God regardless if He appears as Jesus, Holy Spirit or as our Father in heaven. He is the ultimate triple threat that is omnipresent. When you believe in one, you get God as all three, and all three are there for our praise and worship. I know this can be mind blowing, but we get the easy part. All we have to do is believe. Honor the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and have a blessed day!
