About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

·         Assist in preparing valuation reports for our branches in the Isle of Man, Singapore, Hong Kong, and UAE, ensuring compliance with the highest standards and timelines.

·         Support internal group reporting through experience investigations, adhering to established methodologies.

·         Help develop and maintain actuarial liability models, ensuring accurate data extraction and documentation.

·         Provide actuarial support for various projects as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

·         A recent graduate eager to start a successful career in actuarial science.

·         A degree in mathematics, statistics, or a related field with a strong academic record.

·         Eligibility to join the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries or Society of Actuaries as a student member or current membership.

·         Proficiency in Excel, including knowledge of VBA, is a plus.

·         Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

·         Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

·         A proactive self-starter who can take initiative while knowing when to seek support.

·         Exceptional report-writing skills in English.

Training support with IFGL:

An actuarial career is a highly rewarding profession that requires dedication and commitment from talented individuals. Our actuarial training will provide you with practical experience and application of the educational topics on statistical modelling, economics, financial & actuarial mathematics, together with the traditional areas of actuarial work such as investment, finance and life assurance. It can typically take at least 4 years to qualify.
