Gratitude: A Time Of Reflection
I am incredibly grateful. Overwhelmed with appreciation.
This has been a wild journey – a lot of unknowns, a lot of ups, a lot of downs, and a lot of pivoting– and hell, that’s just the last 8 months.
There is no doubt that the employment market has changed since COVID-19 abruptly came into our lives.
I have pivoted my business to fit the needs of my clients, have expanded my coaching services to meet the needs of job seekers and overall adjusted my business structure to sustain this unprecedented time in history.
In a time where it feels like there is nothing going on, there sure is A LOT GOING ON. And for that I am grateful.
I am grateful for all the phone calls, zoom sessions and creative tactics we have embraced over the past several months. I am especially grateful for technology.
I am grateful to be partnered with incredibly smart clients who are continuing to drive business and grow their teams.
I am grateful for the job seekers who continue to show their trust and vulnerability with me, so we can break barriers and achieve success.
I am grateful for my family and friends who continue to support me and my crazy ideas.
I am grateful for wine. Because let’s be honest, we are in some weird times and I really like wine.
Most importantly, I am grateful to be living my dream.
The best part of my job is when I get to see personalities fit into company cultures. Extending job offers and receiving their acceptance is when the stars align. Just the encouragement I need to continue to source, continue to interview, and continue uncover invisible talent in the market.
Even during COVID.
Just this past week I was able to extend job offers to two candidates I have been working with. This makes me want to jump up and down! Being part of the process to help a candidate find a better opportunity than they currently have makes ME feel like I’m getting an exciting new job. It’s empowering. Not only are we increasing income, we are increasing happiness – and for that, I am ALL IN.
So with that, I am grateful.
Thank you for being in my tribe. We are in a wild world, but please continue to push forward and go after your dreams. Every small step you take today, will lead up to something great. Just wait and see.
Wishing you a happy & healthy Thanksgiving, and a grateful heart.
Cheers,
Renee
