Great NEWS!

As the holidays draw near, the season often brings a blend of joy, happiness, and nostalgia, but for others, they deal with challenges like grief and loneliness. While festive cheer fills the air, many find this time isolating, especially those grieving a loved one or feeling disconnected from friends and family. It’s vital to acknowledge these emotions—grief, sadness, and even anger— are natural. Engaging in an active gratitude practice or reminiscing about cherished memories with loved ones can be comforting. But if loneliness becomes overwhelming, reaching out to friends, joining community events, or seeking support groups can provide solace and connection. Remember, prioritizing mental health through self-care, setting boundaries, or even professional counseling is essential for your well-being.

Invitation to speak on a Prestigious Healthcare Panel of top CEOs

The healthcare industry is grappling with what sometimes seem like insurmountable challenges. But together, with the right information and education, we can overcome those challenges. On January 23, I’m incredibly grateful to have been invited to be part of an esteemed panel at a Minneapolis St Paul Business Journal event, which includes leaders from major hospitals, insurance companies, and healthcare organizations to discuss barriers to care, the rapid pace of innovation, and what the future might hold for patients and providers alike. To be among so many distinguished CEOs in the healthcare field is truly humbling as I will take this opportunity to talk about what healthcare will look like in 2025 but also 5 years, 10 years, and beyond.

Speaking to Minnesota’s Worker’s Compensation Deskbook Seminar

I was honored to speak at the Minnesota Worker’s Compensation Deskbook, where I had the chance to educate lawyers and other insurance professionals about cutting-edge treatments from light and laser therapy to advanced surgical techniques. It was somewhat surprising that in a room of people who have dealt collectively with thousands and thousands of clients only a three people put their hands up when I asked them if they had ever heard of red light therapy or biohacking. It just goes to show how much education is still needed around the benefits that people can experience from things such as light and laser therapy.

The main point, however, I wanted to get across was how integrating wellness is an incredibly important part of any recovery plan and long-term quality of life for patients. It’s inspiring to see such enthusiasm from professionals who see the benefit of bridging traditional and holistic methods to provide the best possible care. All in all, it was an incredibly successful event with lots of great questions and interest in these topics. Lastly, I wish to say a big thank you to the event organizers for inviting me to speak about subjects I’m incredibly passionate about.

Harvard Square TED Talk announced

I’m also honored to have the opportunity to speak at the Harvard Square TED Talk on April 25, where I will be talking about the transformative power of photobiomodulation. The talk aims to explore how these therapies are poised to revolutionize wellness and medicine, offering non-invasive options to treat a variety of conditions.

This marks a pivotal opportunity to bring photobiomodulation—an emerging field—into the spotlight. I’m incredibly excited to walk onto the TED Talk stage at Harvard University and spread the message about the healing properties of light therapy.

Pioneering New Frontiers

I’m incredibly excited to have an amazing guest on my latest podcast. Dr. Louis Saeger, the Director of Regenerative Medicine at the HyperCharge Clinic delved into the transformative potential of regenerative medicine, which is a cutting-edge field in healthcare that focuses on repairing, replacing, or regenerating human cells to restore normal function. It represents a shift from traditional medical treatments by addressing the root cause of diseases and injuries by harnessing the body’s innate ability to heal itself.

For example, using platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and mesenchymal stem cell (MSCs) treatments are redefining the landscape of healthcare. PRP treatment is where blood is drawn and processed in a centrifuge to concentrate platelets, which are rich in growth factors essential for healing. This concentrated plasma is then injected into the affected area to stimulate tissue repair, reduce inflammation, and accelerate recovery. It is commonly used to treat conditions like joint pain, spinal issues, tendon injuries, hair loss, aesthetics, and sexual health.

MSCs, on the other hand, are mesenchymal stem cells found in various tissues, such as bone marrow and fat. These cells have the unique ability to differentiate into specialized cell types, including bone, cartilage, and muscle cells. MSCs are extracted, processed, and injected into damaged or degenerative tissues to promote regeneration. They play a pivotal role in reducing inflammation, repairing damaged tissues, and enhancing overall recovery. MSC therapies are being utilized for musculoskeletal injuries, degenerative joint diseases, and even cosmetic treatments.

One treatment Dr. Saeger highlighted, which has much potential, was the ‘super shot’, which is an advanced healing option using concentrated growth factors and additional cell types in the regenerative process. Dr Saeger is one of the only providers in the market to offer this advanced option.

Lastly, Dr. Saeger emphasizes the importance of educating both the public and medical professionals about these groundbreaking therapies. Much like other transformative technologies that followed, regenerative medicine is poised to revolutionize patient care. We are still in the early stages of mainstream adoption, but the potential for widespread impact is immense.
