Grit, Gratitude, and still Day 1 for him

Woke up to this inspiration.

My friend Chirag Negandhi, or Chilly as we fondly call him, made it to the 40-under-40 list of Economic Times.

It was a moment of immense joy, but more, something to be inspired from.

I have seen his career grow from starting as a research analyst at ENAM to becoming co-head of research to now the Joint CEO at Axis Capital. I know it was tough as the transition happened from ENAM to Axis. But I have seen him grow, mature and lead with grit.

He inspires. Today I read about his work for the under privileged girl child through this. Like most of the good work that he does, even here he chose to do it silently. And rightly so. As the great Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar always said, let the bat do the talking.

As I congratulate him and feel proud of every achievement of his - having just read 'Invent and Wander (Jeff Bezos' letters to shareholders) - I will tell him this, its still Day One. Make Axis Capital the most unique investment banking firm.

He surelykhas miles to go...Keep rising, keep inspiring, keep DFYing, my friend.

For those of us who can dream, there is no place as far away.
