A group of Hotels in Hurghada is searching for an Egyptian Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical role in driving financial strategy, analyzing data, and delivering actionable insights to support decision-making within the organization. This position involves preparing and interpreting complex financial reports, managing budgets, and providing strategic guidance to optimize performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis, coupled with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

 Key Responsibilities:

                1.           Financial Analysis and Reporting:

                •             Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial statements and reports to monitor company performance.

                •             Develop detailed variance analyses, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.

                2.           Forecasting and Budgeting:

                •             Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, collaborating with various departments to ensure accuracy and alignment with company goals.

                •             Maintain and refine financial models to support business planning and scenario analysis.

                3.           Strategic Support:

                •             Provide actionable insights to senior leadership, supporting strategic initiatives and business growth.

                •             Evaluate financial implications of potential projects, investments, and partnerships.

                4.           Data Management and Optimization:

                •             Work with large datasets to identify patterns and make data-driven

recommendations.

                •             Develop and improve processes for efficient data collection and reporting.

                5.           Compliance and Risk Management:

                •             Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies.

                •             Identify and mitigate financial risks to protect organizational assets.

                6.           Team Collaboration:

                •             Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial

objectives.

                •             Mentor and support junior analysts in developing analytical skills and best practices.

 Qualifications:

                •             Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CMA) preferred.

                •             Experience: 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or related roles. He must have at least 3 years’ experience working in one of the Financial Advisory firms, be certified as a financial analyst by the FRA, passed at least Level one of the CFA programs, and be completely familiar with business valuation using different methods (eg. DCF, NAV, multiples, 

                 Skills:

                •             Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

                •             Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial software.

                •             Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

                •             Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
