A++ Group: a small step to fighting light pollution with Sustainable Architecture

For over 150 years, artificial lights have increasingly invaded the Earth's nights, making once extremely bright stars like Sirius and Orion almost invisible. Due to the increase in urbanization and uncontrolled growth of the amount of light sources, our planet photographed from space now resembles a huge sphere that shines ominously in the cosmic night. According to a recent study published in Science, based on 51,351 observations of the night sky conducted worldwide between 2011 and 2022 by Christopher Kyba, a physicist at the German Research Centre for Geosciences in Potsdam, along with his US colleagues from the Globe at Night team, starlight is losing intensity due to light pollution, which is increasing at a rate of 2% per year.

Contemporary lighting design, aimed at people's health and the reduction of building impacts, finds a tool of guidelines for design, construction, and management of efficient spaces in terms of environmental quality and impact tracking in the Well Building Standard system.

A++ HUMAN SUSTAINABLE ARCHITECTURE. If everyone's small actions can help change the world, we are doing our part. From its inception, A++ has been a creative hub, a crossroads of ideas and talents that operates guided by a single motto: "human sustainable architecture," which means expanding the concept of sustainability beyond just green principles and respect for the environment, and extending it to the physical and mental well-being of humans. An innovative approach that allows designing places in balance with the environment, personal needs, and the planet as a whole. A way of doing architecture that requires a combination of scientific, technological, humanistic, and economic knowledge, which allows considering the environmental and social impact of construction, its ability to adapt to the needs of the local community, and improve the health and well-being of people, without compromising natural resources for future generations.

Even the smallest gesture can make a difference when it comes to preserving our planet. If we all do our part to adopt sustainable habits, we can contribute to building a better future for ourselves and future generations.
