In today’s polarized and challenging climate, navigating the path to equity requires resilience, creativity, and a deep commitment to authentic change. Navigating a Divisive Climate is a dynamic six-week live series designed to equip leaders, practitioners, and equity-minded individuals with actionable tools to lead and thrive in these uncharted waters. Whether you hold a formal DEI title or are simply passionate about creating equitable change, this series offers a transformative learning experience tailored to the needs of our time.
Each session is rooted in the collective expertise and shared wisdom of three Black women leaders— Joquina Reed , Dr.Samantha Rae, and I—who bring a wealth of experience as practitioners, strategists, and advocates for justice. Together, we aim to foster a collaborative, responsive space where participants can build their capacity to create meaningful, lasting change in their organizations and communities.
Through practical frameworks, ancestral wisdom, and sustainable strategies, this series will help participants address the complexities of leading with purpose while maintaining wellness and balance.
What We've Created
In the face of an increasingly divisive cultural landscape, we come together as a community of care, recognizing that navigating this climate as DEI practitioners is both a challenge and an opportunity. While our individual paths may differ—one stepping back, another revising, and one doubling down—we remain united in our commitment to equity and collective growth.
Our conversations about resilience, sustainability, and actionable strategies led us to create this six-week live series, Navigating a Divisive Climate. It’s more than a series; it’s a space for mutual support, innovation, and shared learning for anyone invested in equity, regardless of their professional title.
This series is our way of extending the tools, insights, and care we’ve shared with one another to a broader community. Together, we aim to build a network of empowered individuals equipped to lead authentically, foster inclusive cultures, and sustain meaningful change.
