A Guide to KPIs

KPIs serve as a guidepost to help you and your organization reach your goals. In addition to measuring financial success, KPIs can help engage employees, connect your purpose to your culture and create accountability for performance.

i3 Ignite was asked to contribute along with some amazing industry leaders to a resource put together by Simplifeye, 👉🏻 KPIS EVERY DENTIST NEEDS TO KNOW

But where to begin?

Identifying where to start can be the hardest part of implementing metrics. As my partner sand I believe, it's all about asking the right questions.

  • What do we need to know to increase our collections?
  • What do we need to do to reduce expenses?
  • What do we need to know to increase patient satisfaction?
  • What do we need to know to increase team satisfaction?

💡 Then narrow it down to: Which of these four is most important to you right now?

You ever put a ton of things on your to-do list only to get so overwhelmed at all the things that you barely end up completing any of them? That is why most experts will suggest making a short list of the top 3-5 things to be considered priorities in any given day. It is more manageable and digestible. Same with KPIs, less is more.

What gets measured gets done.

I cannot stress the importance of KPIs enough. Do yourself a favor and check out this resource complete with examples. They did a really great job of compiling some incredibly valuable information. Click Here For KPIs Every Dentist Needs to Know.

Unfortunately the link on the website downloads the wrong guide. Instead of KPIs its a guide to securing financing. Not something I would want to share with my team. :)
