Habit is what keeps you going forward

Habit is what keeps you going forward

“Everyone’s life journey is different but the success principles that they should be doing daily remains the same. Our daily patterns will always win” ~ Edward Ellis

We are all slaves of our own habits is a common saying we keep hearing, however there are some good habits as well. These habits are simple & easily doable and moldable into discipline. All it needs is a wish to start and the courage to keep going.

Think about you food habits first. How do you start your day? With a hot cup of tea or coffee? No we go for a glass of warm water with honey and lemon. May be also green herbal tea is a good idea to flush out toxins from your system. If we say complete 'no no' to processed food, including biscuits, cakes, bread, oily food, fast food. Because what you eat will dictate how well you live. Just remove that sugar container in your house and throw it away for your future healthy self. It has zero protein, zero vitamins, no good carbs, and only a lot of calories that only give you artificial taste.

Substitute it with other stuff like honey and dates they taste better and are healthy too. Help yourself with bowl of freshly cut fruits with cereals and milk or yogurt as a healthy option for breakfast, I have been on this diet for long now and feel top of the world from the word go. A light meal with vegetables, chapati and salad or soup makes your lunch light and refreshing and with less calories so you don't feel drowsy.

Have you read 'Rich Dad Poor Dad', I suggest you to read books first everyday at leisure time rather than scrolling on mobile or your tablet. I learnt to diversify my investment portfolio and started using my idle assets by renting them out, it is a decent source of income and give you peace of mind. Mutual funds are wise investments rather than stock market is what I realised after losing heavily on shares. I used to divide my salary income every month by parking more than 50% on saving schemes like SIP and rest you can plan to spend wisely, stop using credit card and use only debit card and net banking for your expenses.

Physical health is a wise investment in yourself. Get a good 7–8 hours of a sound sleep at night. Drink plenty of water to keep your system hydrated and skin to flush out toxins. My habit of waking up early and doing meditation and yoga has helped tremendously. One hour brisk walk listening to your favourite music is a great way to burn calories while giving good workout to all the muscles of the body, improving blood circulation and inducing good sleep too.

e, technology, self-development. If you only read what everyone else reads, you will only know what everyone else knows. Read a variety of books that will structure you as a better human being.

Select people wisely whom you hang out with. It matters a lot who you surround yourself with matters. The thing called: You are the average of 5 people you are surrounded with - Yes, that is completely true & wise. Imagine being surrounded by people of negative approach, what will go in your mind? How will you become through time? And imagine being surrounded with optimistic people, Imagine being with great people who are lively for life, what will it feed your mind? Whatever you do, It will install greatness in your conscious and subconscious. So, choose wisely who you give your valuable time.

Reading books a lot of books is a great habit. I read at least for 2 hours every day during my commute to office and back, it is a great leisurely activity reading books and writing at least one article or blog daily it keeps you habituated to regularly using your social media accounts and keep your friends and contacts waiting for more every day. Do respond to each and every comment you receive good, bad, ugly whatever but it matters a lot learn to accept even criticism positively and improve your own content and style.

Your career is what gives you a real purpose to live and spend your day positively doing some productive work and making good amount of money at a decent job. Because your business or your job is the only activity that you will spend more than half the amount of your time every single day. So, if it is not what you genuinely want to do, stop it right now and do something that you really crave to do. Your future self will thank you for this decision. Don't discuss job or career with people who do not matter to you. keep relationship and work life balance well.

Develop some hobby, be it music, painting, writing, drawing, gardening or whatever but it gives a good amount of work to your left side of the brain which is used for creativity. Without any hobby we are just like animals or plants, only living life because you are given one by god. Do some social work, attend camps and help the needy to get something in their hands too. Do charity and do some noble work helping old people or children of your community by encouraging them and engaging with them regularly. Cheers!
