I've found this kind of framework really helpful in adapting my communication to others. But I've also been in training situations where this framework is used to blame and disparage, ganging up on one type of communication style or another. Lesson learned is that we can take control of our own thoughts and actions but that still doesn't mean everyone is going to become a raving fan. And that's okay.
