That’s what I pondered at the gym whilst t-barring 40kg.

Just kidding.

So why on earth am I leading with such a ridiculous clickbait?

Because it works!

We are so distracted by nonsensical drama that does nothing to move our lives forward. It’s so much easier to scrutinize them and comment on how “wrong” they are (usually) rather than to scrutinize our own lives.

If you are spending time following online drama, you are stealing valuable time from yourself.

You can’t blame the tabloids nor the YouTube hooks for your lack of focus - though they are brilliant with their clickbait, I’ll give them that!

If you don’t have a compelling vision, a reason to get up each day that excites you coupled with fired-up execution, then you are missing out on the life and the experiences that you could be having.

It’s being wasted instead on the watches of successful people who know how to lure people in and waste their time at the expense of troubled celebrities with real life challenges that the world doesn't need to know about.

Let go of the need to follow it all. It adds no value to your life beyond gossiping with other drifters with nothing better to talk about or think about.

Follow yourself instead.

Scrutinize your life instead.

Do you have a compelling vision that excites you?

Do you wake up each morning excited to conquer it?

If your answer is no, then it’s time to change that!

"Where there is no vision, the people perish" - Proverbs 29:18

Without a clear sense of purpose, direction, or a guiding vision for your future, you become lost, aimless, and distracted by nonsensical drama that does NOTHING to help your life.

Having goals, aspirations, and a sense of purpose in life changes EVERYTHING.
