HEAD OF PHILANTHROPY | ETON COLLEGE
Eton College is a modern educational charity which aspires not only to support pupils and projects in Eton itself but to reach out more widely into communities and work in partnership with other schools and educational organisations.
We sit at the heart of a healthy network of donors who between them have given over £100 million since 2005. Over the past few years the groundwork has been laid to greatly increase both the pace of fundraising and the ambition of this office.
We have a warm and effective relationship with the Old Etonian Association, we have invested in our database over the past few years, and we have transformed our communications with the appointment of a Director of Communications.
We have also a brilliant events programme run by a Director of Engagement and are developing a sophisticated, data-driven, approach in line with the most successful Development Offices in the UK, under our Director of Development Services.
Our donors and future donors will be generous but also have high expectations of what we can offer and expect our work in every sphere, to be well conceived, rational and carefully managed as well as having a touch of stardust.
The stage is set for a very exciting future as we look to ‘Esto Perpetua’, a multi-year programme aiming to raise over £230 million to Eton’s endowment.
