Healing is a Hoax!

Healing is a Hoax!

I have never liked the word "healing". I prefer the term "resonance".

Here is an exercise for you. Hold out your cupped hands in front of you. Close your eyes, and imagine someone putting a ripe peach in your palms. Lift your hands up to your nose, savour the smell. Feel it's peachy skin. Now, imagine that you bite into it. The nectar enters your mouth, filling it. It is so sweet, your mouth overflows. You swallow, and take another bite. Take a deep breath, and let go to the feeling of sweetness. Carry that sense into the rest of your day.

Open your eyes. Did your mouth water?

Resonance between your imagination and your body reactions.

Another exercise. Take off all your clothes, and stand in front of a full-length mirror. Look at your body. Focus in on all that you perceive as "flaws". Pot belly. Wrinkles. Dry skin, scars, warts. These are your badges of honour. Your body is a beautiful instrument that has served you for years.

Place your hands in the 🙏🏻-position in front of your heart. Bow to yourself. Give thanks to your body for it's service to you. Close your eyes, tense every muscle, and let them relax.

Now, say "thank you" to your body. Rub your hands together until they are warm, place one hand on your chest and one on your stomach. Make a circle with both hands - clockwise at the top, counter-clockwise at the bottom.

Observe the reactions you get. You might yawn, cry, smile, laugh ... nothing is a wrong reaction.

Resonance between your energetic and somatic body.

The title of this edition was misleading. Healing is not a hoax. The way it is portrayed by some practitioners, though, is. People with purported "magic hands" who, greedy for power, portray themselves as "saviours", "saints" or "anointed ones".

You have just gone through two exercises in healing. In the first, you healed the rest of your day. In the second, you healed your body image.

Have a blessed day.

Help others if you can. If you can't help then don't bother or add to other people's problems.
