The Heartbeat: "A new path to consistency, clarity, and growth. (Yes, please.)"

The Heartbeat: "A new path to consistency, clarity, and growth. (Yes, please.)"

What do you want your 2025 to look like?

I’ve been thinking a lot about something lately — how often we, as entrepreneurs, feel like we’re running in circles trying to get ahead.

We put in hours of work, but sometimes, the results just don’t feel like they match the effort.

Maybe you’ve been there, too?

If you've ever thought, "Why does my bank account not reflect the amount of effort I put into my business?" here are potential reasons why:

  1. Systemic barriers still exist for women of color in business. Research shows that women of color face unique challenges compared to their white counterparts. According to a study by McKinsey, Black women are the most entrepreneurial group in the U.S., but they face higher barriers to funding, including less access to capital and networks compared to white entrepreneurs. This means that even though you’re working harder than most, the resources you need to scale may not be as readily available.
  2. Your growth potential has been stilted. The National Women's Business Council reveals that women of color often receive less mentorship and fewer business development opportunities, which can significantly impact their growth potential. When you don't have the right support or resources, it’s easy to feel like you're running on a treadmill — putting in effort but not gaining the traction you deserve.
  3. Here's the biggie: the mental and emotional toll. The emotional labor of constantly fighting for visibility, recognition, and equity can drain your energy and shift your focus away from the strategies that truly grow your business. I’ve seen many amazing women of color entrepreneurs get caught up in trying to prove themselves rather than focusing on building a brand that reflects their true worth.

This is why I believe it's time to amplify your voice through the power of personal branding and marketing.

Especially now that it's been announced that Walmart (following Ford, Harley-Davidson, Lowe's, and Tractor Supply) is walking away from its DEI pledges. The largest retailer to do so thus far, it means that now more than ever, we need to amplify our voices.

There’s power in your story, your voice, and your journey.

The key is recognizing that the traditional routes to success might not always work for you — let's leverage your resiliency in a different way.

When you can channel your unique strengths and experiences into your business strategy, you can shift the narrative and start seeing the results you’ve earned.

So, if you’re feeling stuck, know that you’re not alone and it’s time to align your business with your true value.

The rewards will be that much sweeter when you rise above the noise and claim what you’re worth.

You deserve it.

Now, let's talk about what you need.

Most business owners I know talk about the challenge of staying consistent with marketing. (And I know a lot of them, from the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses to the Tory Burch Foundation Fellowship to The Authentic Asian community.)

It's not just finding time to post; it's about having a strategy that works for you, day in and day out, without burning you out.

Here’s the thing:

If your marketing is inconsistent, you’re leaving a lot of potential on the table.

If you’re constantly changing tactics or wondering if you’re doing it “right,” it’s time for a reset.

That’s why I created my Profitable Rolling Marketing Plan Template.

It’s exactly what I wish I had when I was starting my entrepreneurial journey. A clear, actionable plan that adapts to your needs while keeping you on track.

Why is this different?

This isn’t a cookie-cutter marketing plan. This is a rolling plan that evolves with you and your business, giving you the flexibility to respond to changes and seize new opportunities. Plus, I'm here to help. :)

No more scrambling to figure out what to do next or second-guessing if you’re on the right path.

This plan is simple and designed to fit into your real life, not the Pinterest-perfect marketing strategies we see online that only add to the overwhelm.

It’s a roadmap to clarity and consistency, giving you the tools you need to reach your next milestone with confidence.

What’s inside?

  • A step-by-step guide to creating a sustainable marketing plan
  • The exact framework to stay on track with minimal time commitment
  • A rolling system that grows and adapts with your business
  • Simple yet powerful strategies to build momentum every month

I know it works because I’ve used this approach to help my clients scale their businesses without burning out. If you’re ready to stop guessing and start growing with a plan that actually makes sense for you, this is your moment.
