Helping those affected by Hurricane Helene

Helping those affected by Hurricane Helene

Today, we're focusing on how we can come together to help those impacted by Hurricane Helene. We're sharing a powerful opportunity for you to lend a hand, providing an update on our properties and, as always, delivering you this week's great new podcast episode.

Let's start with how you can make a difference.

Join Us in Supporting Hurricane Helene Relief

This week, I want to highlight an important cause that’s close to my heart.

My good friend, Chris Larsen, is leading a major effort to support those affected by Hurricane Helene, and I've personally chosen to support his GoFundMe campaign.

Chris and his team have partnered with multiple organizations and individuals to deliver critical supplies like water, fuel, and medical aid to the hardest-hit areas.

They're working with Former Special Forces for search and rescue, have established a collection and delivery site in Charlotte with a team of 700 volunteers, and are coordinating daily supply runs to Asheville.

Partners like Operation Airdrop and Two Men and a Truck are helping transport essential items across North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, and more.

The impact of Hurricane Helene is immense, and everything we give helps keep rescue and delivery vehicles moving, ensuring that supplies reach those who need them most.

Every contribution makes a real difference. Time is of the essence, and together, we can help bring relief to these communities. Thank you for your support.

An Update on Our Properties in the Southeast

As you know, last week brought major devastation to parts of the southeast with Hurricane Helene.

We’re thankful to share that all of our residents and staff are completely safe and damage at our properties is minimal.

While our Valdosta, Georgia mobile home park and Clearwater Beach, Florida parking garage were both in the path of the storm, the impact was limited. While you can’t prevent any natural disaster from happening, you can certainly be prepared.

Our team made sure to take proactive measures to ensure the safety of our communities, and they worked around the clock to repair any damages, cut down trees, and get operations up and running as soon as possible.

We’re thankful for our exceptional and hardworking team, and our thoughts go out to those around the country who were impacted by the storm.
