Here's Why Your Linkedin Profile Picture is Killing Your Sales!
Let's face it... If you're a professional but your Linkedin profile picture isn't professional, then you are hindering your own sales growth.
Humans judge based on appearance. We're social creatures who strive for human connection. Top of the hierarchy human connection. We are primitive. It's about survival.
I went through my recommended network section and showed a few profiles to a few friends. I brought up profiles of people who were all in the same industry and I asked them who they'd be more willing to work with and who they think is more successful... they of course chose the ones with quality headshots.
Let me explicitly tell you what I mean by quality and professional headshots! I don't mean suit and tie, or red lipstick and dress. I mean a good resolution image with proper lighting, composition, posing and toning. Every industry in different and commands a wholly different style of profile portrait.
Look, I'm genuinely not trying to advertise for myself. Don't hire me! Even get a friend to take a portrait on their camera.
Just do something about your public appearance on here because I'm promising you that once you get a stellar headshot of yourself you'll feel more confident on Linkedin, people will start to want to connect with you faster and overall your business brand value will be raised!
Don't take this up with me, take this up with human nature! Why do you think that people like to take selfies with celebrities, politicians and famous people? It's all about landing ourselves higher up on the hierarchy and surviving.
It's not about our looks, it's about how we PRESENT ourselves.
Hire a professional photographer who can properly express who you are and capture what you're all about!

4yZusha Goldin I missed this right before my travels. Get article. And great point. As much as we don’t want to “judge a book by its cover (photo)- we are human and we do. So make it good!
