The stupidity and ignorance of people, as well as political correctness require us to rewrite the history of nations In an objective way. The real reasons behind the great wars, the depressions, recessions or economic adjustments - whatever names you want to give it.
How many lives were shattered due to useless and mentally unstable leaders. How many leaders led their troops to their death In the name of their own glory.  Those conducting the unjustified wars have lived without any sufferings, Even today the like of Tony Blair, Bush etc are living confortably while returning soldiers with trauma and homeless are being treated with disdain. History failed to teach us on those blunders where human beings were sent to their death as disposable cattles, where greedy, unscrupulous people led to those depressions and wars were seen as a solution to change the course of history! Drafted civilians were compelled to fight or imprisonned if they did not show up. Today in the name of moral values and supposedly freedom and liberty we continue to dictate to the World and continue to maim. Either you are patriot or not! You choose and then shut it off. That is The new democratic state. Those who criticize the syrians for seeking shelters elsewhere would be better off reading their history lessons.  I am not a soldier but have long been on the list of volunteers to defend the nation. I will defend any nations where i am welcome and if it is a worthy cause.

The economic impact of wars are often ignores by citizen. It involves mobilisation of manpower, materials which are beneficial for the privante sectors, but for government this means finding the resources to finance those wars. This is done either through raising taxes, hence cutting on other vital services or creating money that is through inflation.
Germany had to pay his debt to countries such as France and UK for causing the war. This is the most unfair debt repayment in the history of wars........
