Hey Neighbors, I was looking for some property in North Seattle, somewhere between "Kayaks" and "Canada Eh?"
Yes, I've attempted to talk to commercial realtors, but I can't seem to convey that NNN means nothing to me (Here's my rant on ancronyms) and to listen to what I'm asking just go find stuff and tell me "It's this big, it costs this much, and yes you can put your bedroom set in the back" - is that really that hard?
Oh, and don't get mad... this is the go ahead and offend EVERYONE map of Seattle, so it's not anything"ist" it's equally horrible to everyone. And it makes me laugh to be honest, sorry, I'm not a bad person I promise. I'm really itching to do a Watson Data Platform data analysis based on this, pull in Census, Property Tax, Crime, etc. data to see how accurate the horribly offensive stereotypes are.....but revenue comes first, I've got folks coming on board I want to reward handsomely for putting their trust in me... cause I'm a little eccentric.. in case you didn't notice.
I currently live in the "Cheap Rent" area* and my manly-man best friend whom I spend lots of time with just bought a place in "Canada Eh?" *because* I live in "Cheap Rent"*
Downtown is likely too expensive & parking well - sucks. I'll consider "Couldn't Afford Capital Hill" or "Strollers and Bars" areas, but it has to be *perfect* (with unpaid parking) to make fighting that traffic not suck my will to live dry.
To understand what I need:
- This is the What & Why of what I'm up to
- This is HOW I work with folks.
So the space would need to have an open area, and preferably a larger one for bigger meet-ups.
I envisioned kind of a lobby area with 3-4 tables for folks to sit a chat, one or two private offices, and larger warehouse, autobay type area in the back.
Which that back area will be dubbed... and I already bought the URL when my brilliantly creative, pun master of a child came up with:
The Mullet Club - Business in the Front, Party in the Back
I'll consider a house, set up with a restaurant style area downstairs, in that case I'd like to to have a yard big enough and zoned for a large workshop to house "The Mullet Club".
I'd really, really, really, really, like close and easy parking (or less than 50 ft from a public transit stop-I'm little woman who lugs a lot of stuff for presentations)

My goal is a place zoned such I can live there too (legally)- unfinished is fine - I could live under a bride as long as I have wifi and hot coffee in the morning.

So far, you can get all the Bossy Girls LLC (ad)Ventures Work, graphic design work, dev work, and a virtual assistant with "BuddyBits", <-yes-I've filed for the trademark> and it's less than a week old.
Give me time to build the BootStrap Buddies Brigade troop counts here, it's going to be AMAZING! I just made a 6-figure bet on that, and I'm cheap as hell, so you can trust me.
