4moThis is what I try and hammer home to my clients. That old saying buy cheap buy twice is very true, especially in the transformation world. Too many clients believe that building teams on shoestring will save them money, but it's a false economy and they will be paying double the price to put the programme back on track again. 4moI think there are things there that you have missed. I don't know how many times I have come in as a consultant, only to hear, 'I am not paid to train others'. A lack of proper training expectations and sharing of knowledge between current staff and new hires, proper and updated operating procedures for each post, and a good firm training schedule for new employees. Each company is run slightly different than the other. Calculations can be slightly different, procedures can be different. And in reality it takes a good 3 solid months for an employee to be up and running. I have seen great ppl turned down for positions and the new hires struggle as they connected with the hiring team better than others with more suitable experience.
