Hitachi Energy to invest additional $4.5 billion by 2027 to accelerate the clean energy transition 

The investment will allow Hitachi Energy to meet customers' commitments and market demand and increase its global R&D, engineering and manufacturing capacity of transformers, high-voltage direct current (HVDC) and high-voltage products. It will support deploying power electronics-based solutions, grid automation and software solutions, and services in line with the Hitachi Energy 2030 Plan. Investments will also go into partnerships, supply chain, digitalization and automation, which are enablers to support capacity expansion and increase speed to market.

EconiQ technology powers TenneT’s Maasbracht substation 


Hitachi Energy will supply its pioneering 380-kilovolt (kV) EconiQ™ gas-insulated lines (GIL) to upgrade TenneT’s legacy substation in Maasbracht, a small town on the banks of the river Maas in southeastern Netherlands. The eco-efficient technology will enable TenneT to maintain a reliable electricity supply in Maasbracht and remove sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) gas, considerably reducing carbon emissions.

Hitachi Energy 2024 Startup Challenge winners announced

Two winners among six finalist startup companies were selected after a final workshop at the company´s headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland: 

Pond Biomaterials , a biotech company specializing in transforming products into fully biobased and biodegradable solutions, won the challenge for the Grid Integration Business Unit’s track. 

Composite Recycling , the startup dedicated to recycling glass fiber reinforced plastics (GFRP) into reclaimed glass fibers and pyrolysis oil, won the challenge for the Transformers Business Unit proposal.

TURBINA EOLICA PLEGABLE ofrezco licencias o venta de la patente por país, es la WO2024/123169 link: https://patentscope.wipo.int/search/es/detail.jsf?docId=WO2024123169&_cid=P11-LXWM4H-16420-1 para que puedan fabricar y vender la turbina eólica la cual es muy eficiente pues no se le escapa el viento por entre sus palas, es muy duradera y económica puede ser construida de acero y también sus palas, que al estar la turbina con su centro de gravedad en equilibrio que termina en punta en la parte de abajo, es fácil de mover, los rodamientos duran mucho pues no sostienen a la turbina solo la guían, y con un adecuado mantenimiento de pintura cada ciertos años puede durar un siglo o más. La turbina es de eje vertical plegable y multi configurable toma la fuerza del viento con la forma cóncava cerrada y cuando viene contra el viento con forma convexa abierta, no desperdicia la fuerza como la turbina Savonius.
